Instructional Leadership Accomplishments:

  • Implemented Marzano Framework for a long-term professional development program which establishes a blueprint for quality teaching and learning

  • Planned and facilitated District Leadership Team meetings to determine professional development sessions, analyzed student learning data and evaluated the effectiveness of district initiatives, including Professional Learning Communities

  • Created and utilized a system of teacher leadership to enable teams to create and implement quality professional development throughout the PK-12 system

 

Financial and Facilities Accomplishments:

  • Implemented the utilization of Frontline (Forecast Five) for financial forecasting

  • Increased Panorama’s unspent balance over past eight years while facing consistent declining enrollmentCreated and utilized director and building principal budgeting processes that gave individuals the tools and ability to make sound financial decisions for their department or building

  • Created a five-year PPEL/SAVE facilities improvement plan that included remodeling projects, on-going maintenance projects and new construction

  • Facilitated a building feasibility study to assess the possibility of a new competition gym

Community Partnership Accomplishments:

  • Panora Economic Development Past President and active member

  • Communicated verbally and in writing with school board and stakeholders regarding educational initiatives and issues important to district stakeholders

  • Revitalized the use of district webpage and social networking tools to better inform and give community members a look inside our classrooms

  • Created a protocol that ensured proper communication out to our community stakeholders when the district was faced with a critical incident
